I make sure to plan ahead a little so I can make this Garlic Bread Spread Recipe with our favorite recipe for homemade French Bread. It’s just so fantastic, I use it any way that I can. You can bet our family isn’t complaining, though!

Garlic Bread Spread Recipe

Ingredients
- 4 Cloves Garlic, Crushed
- 2 Tablespoons Butter
- 2 Tablespoons Extra-Virgin Olive Oil
- 1 Loaf Crusty Bread, Split
- 3 Tablespoons Parmigiano or Romano, Optional
- Chopped Fresh Parsley
Instructions
- Combine Garlic, Butter, and Oil in a small saucepan. Cook on low heat for three minutes.
- Toast split Bread under the broiler until toasted brown.
- Brush with Garlic-Oil.
- Sprinkle with Cheese (if using) and Parsley (for color).
- If you added Cheese, return to broiler for 30 seconds.
- Serve warm.
